Trip planning

I’m planning a couple of short trips around NSW. I made a list of the towns on my proposed route and then went to The Travel Pages. From there I copied and pasted information on each town and my trip was ready. Only took a few minutes. You can do the same by using http://the-travel-pages.com/

Motorhomes

Hello Roamers,
I visited a company called Jacana in Taree yesterday. They manufacture motorhomes and convert large tourist busses into motorhomes. Great to see a major tourist business based in the country area.

Hello Roamers,
I’ve had a lot of trouble logging into WordPress lately, consequently no posts.
Don’t forget that The Travel Pages website is totally free to use and has travel information on almost every town in Australia.

Hello Roamers,
TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, today announced the winners of its first-ever ‘Best Beach awards’. Noosa and Mooloolaba beaches were named in the top 10 best beaches in the South Pacific for 2011. Noosa was voted as the third best beach in the world and Mooloolaba was named as tenth.

Formule 1 motels

Hello Roamers,

I stayed at a Formule 1 motel in Sydney for a couple of nights.
Rates are reasonable but they have a very funny set up for the toilet/shower. No shower curtain so the floor of the toilet is flooded and they don’t provide a floor mat to soak it up.
Surely this should be provided for convenience!

Hello Roamers,

With so many domestic natural disasters this year, planning trips in Oz will help those communities and businesses to recover. Think about it.

Hello Roamers,

It seems the old rivalry is alive with Melbourne becoming the favourite place for domestic travellers-leaving Sydney in 2nd place and the Gold Coast in 3rd place.
Seems Sydney hotel prices are too high.
I agree with that-$115 just to stay in a 3 star motel in western Sydney is way over the odds

Hello Roamers,

Whale watching season starts soon-time to plan where to go to get the best views.
This is getting harder in Oz now as there are so many operators in so many places.
A little plug for my town-Forster Tuncurry in NSW-the whale watching company stations a person on a lookout on the coast with binoculars and get information from that person who directs the boat to where the whales are. Good system!

Hello Roamers,

I recently had the misfortune to stay at The Windsor Motel in Windsor NSW.
If you are going to that area then check the room before you accept it. I made a booking over the phone but didn’t check the facilities till I went to have a shower late at night. Not pleasant.
